Recipe Overview While dogs of all ages thrive on grain-free, high-protein diets, senior dogs have special nutritional needs, such a special focus on hip and joint support and healthy metabolism. This recipe made for senior pups in mind starts with real deboned chicken for a leading 32 percent protein level and leading levels of glucosamine and chondroitin to foster healthy hips and joints and L-carnitine for healthy metabolism. Using the chart above, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. For dogs over 100 lbs: add 1/3 cup per additional 10 lbs Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times.
